There are 2 very important ways to help the railroad.
VOLUNTEERS
Without volunteers, we cannot achieve our
goals. If you are in the central Ohio area, please consider
donating your time.
No amount of time or abilities is to small.
In fact, some of the work we need help with can be done sitting right at
your computer!
TAX DEDUCTIBLE CONTRIBUTIONS
How much does it cost to run the railroad? Nearly $100,000 per year
when we are operating. We we are preparing for operations (as we are
in 2008 and 2009), the railroad needs $20,000 each year. These funds
pay for:
Insurance ($8,000)
Train maintenance and protection ($5,000)
Line clearing ($4,000)
Other costs (including Federal reporting and inspections ($3,000)
