CURRENT MEMBERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES Associate members are typically people interested in the railroad but who are unable to attend meetings, work weekends, and special activities. They support the organization through membership dues and additional gifts. Benefits: Bimonthly newsletter (online), non-photo id card,
discounts on merchandise and services. Family Memberships are available. This membership is available for up to 2 adults and unlimited children. Benefits: Bimonthly newsletter (online), photo id card, discounts on merchandise and services, ability to earn marked discounts or free rides based on hours worked, voting rights, email copy of meeting agendas and notes, inclusion in online discussion groups regarding management of the organizations. Cost $60 per year General members are individuals who take an active role in the organization by attending meetings, holding elected or appointed positions, and attending work weekends on a regular basis. Benefits: Bimonthly newsletter (online), photo id card, discounts on merchandise and services, ability to earn marked discounts or free rides based on hours worked, voting rights, email copy of meeting agendas and notes, inclusion in online discussion groups regarding management of the organizations. Youth Member 13 - 17 years old Youth memberships entitle our children to work in an active railroad environment and provide them with voting rights. This is an opportunity to be an active member and train for new positions. Benefits: Bimonthly newsletter (online), photo id card, discounts on merchandise and services, ability to earn marked discounts or free rides based on hours worked, voting rights, email copy of meeting agendas and notes, inclusion in online discussion groups regarding management of the organizations. Restrictions: Youth can not operate heavy machinery. Cost $25 per year For our younger children that would like to work with parents while attending work weekends or scheduled events. Benefits:Bimonthly newsletter (online), photo id card, discounts on merchandise and services, ability to earn marked discounts or free rides. Restrictions: Must be accompanied by an adult. Cost $10 per year Board Director The board consists of 9 individuals, of which 3 must be active volunteers of the railroad. Every effort is made to attract individuals who have a vested interest in the local community. Board members must be able to attend a monthly meeting.
